ACOUSTIC CAVITATION
ACCA Technology powers the SONOX contactless cleaning system.
This technology uses acoustic cavitation and ultrasound to create microbubbles which blast away residue and destroy all bacterial cells in its path.
INACTIVATION OF BACTERIA
Part of what makes Sonox so unique as a proven and highly effective cleaning method is the way it eliminates or inactivates pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas fluorescens, several yeasts like Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Brettanomyces, as well as various fungi, algae and protozoa.
Inactivation of bacteria happens through the collapsing microbubbles. Free radicals form in the water l and this creates a build-up of localised temperatures which is shown to inactivate bacteria and stop further growth.
